The Ioniq 5 launched Hyundai's dedicated E-GMP electric platform with retro-futuristic pixel styling and a flat-floored, lounge-like cabin. Its 800-volt architecture allows some of the fastest DC charging in its price class, taking the battery from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 18 minutes on a 350-kW charger.
